A Heartfelt Celebration: Our 20th Annual Christmas Luncheon at Gamba Ristorante
A Heartfelt Celebration: Our 20th Annual Christmas Luncheon at Gamba Ristorante
Every December, something truly special happens at IGC. For two decades now, our team has come together at the elegant Gamba Ristorante in Merrillville, Indiana, for our annual Christmas luncheon—a tradition that has become tone of the highlights of our year.
This year marked our 20th anniversary of this cherished gathering, and once again, the room was filled with the people who make IGC what it is: almost every team member, along with many of our valued IGC partners and vendors who have walked alongside us through the years. It’s more than a meal—it’s a family reunion.
As always, we took time to proudly celebrate our Indiana Apartment Association award finalists and winners. Seeing the talent, dedication, and excellence of our people recognized on a statewide level never gets old. These honors belong to every person who shows up day after day with passion and commitment.
We also paused to honor something even closer to our hearts: loyalty. This year, we recognized more than 55 team members who have given 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and even over 35 years to the IGC family. Fifty-five individuals—and that number keeps growing. Each milestone acknowledged is a reminder of the trust, and dedication that define our culture.
And then came the speeches.
If you’ve ever been in that room, you know what I mean. This year’s words of gratitude were deep, raw, and powerful. Colleagues stood up and spoke from the heart about what IGC means to them, about the people who have mentored them, supported them, and believed in them. It was one of those rare times when you feel the full weight of belonging to something bigger than yourself.
Twenty years of this tradition. Twenty years of breaking bread together, laughing together, crying together, and celebrating the extraordinary people who make IGC feel like home.
To every team member, past and present—thank you. To our partners and vendors who join us year after year—thank you. And to everyone who shared their heart in that room this December—thank you for reminding us why we do what we do.
Here’s to 20 more years of this beautiful tradition.
With gratitude, The IGC Family
